Karni Sena’s Film About Director’s Mother
Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus Padmaavat has finally hit the theatres yesterday. The movie is critically acclaimed and audiences are lauding the outstanding performance by the cast and the intriguing taking of director. The movie is a Bhansali mark historical (fictional) flick which got embroiled in many controversies.
Before the movie release, Karni Sena has been protesting against the release and tried hard to instigate people against it. The party has even sent some goons to damage the theatres that are screening the film, while few wrongdoers have even screened it live on Facebook. However, as the movie got released despite their protests, vexed Karni Sena picked a new way to take on Bhansali.
Shri Rajput Karni Sena on Thursday announced that they are going to make a movie on Bhansali’s mother and title the film as ‘Leela ki Leela’. The district president of Karni Sena, Govind Singh in a press conference revealed that Arvind Vyas will be directing their project and the team is currently preparing the script. The film is all set to get launched in two weeks. He said that the film will be shot in Rajasthan.
“Even though Bhansali has insulted our mother Padmavati, we will make sure that he feels proud of the movie we are going to make. Our country gives ‘right to expression’ to everyone and we will be exploiting it to the fullest”, they said.
Many people welcomed the move saying that Karni Sena will now truly understand how tough it is to produce and direct a film. We have to say what Bhansali will say about this.
